First, one must know the reason why they are cosplaying. Is the costume for fun, a challenge to oneself or to impress others?

the cosplayer an edge. If there is not much common ground then do not worry, it may just mean spending a few more dollars to get contacts and a wig.

What is the character’s personality like? If there are similarities it will add to the cosplay persona, making the costume more believable in person.

How much time is needed to complete the costume? If there is little time, consider switching to a simpler version of the costume or changing to a different character. When commissioning a costume allow some
